Toyota West: Making a Difference |
Toyota West Owner Joe Bertolami recently headed up the Friends of Scouting fund-raising campaign, providing many young boys in the Statesville, NC, area the opportunity to visit Camp Bud Schiele, which is owned by the Boy Scouts of America.Located in the foothills of the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Bud Schiele provides young boys with the opportunity to learn important skills such as archery, camping and swimming safety, but that's not all. Boys also develop crucial social skills that enable them to be better men, such as team-building, good citizenship, emergency preparedness and self-confidence. And they get the once-in-a-lifetime experience that only camp can provide: making new friends, rappelling from a tall tower, mastering a challenging obstacle course and just being boys, all while enjoying the region's beautiful nature and wildlife. Toyota West is proud to support an organization that does so much for our community's youth. As a 10-time winner of the Toyota President's Award for excellence in all aspects of dealership operations, we are blessed to be able to give back to our Statesville community. Supporting Boy Scouts of America and Camp Bud Schiele are just one way we aim to make a difference in our community, but it wouldn't be possible without the support of our loyal customers. From all of us at Toyota West on behalf of our support of Camp Bud Schiele, thank you for helping us make a difference! |
