My sincere thanks to you and Toyota West of Statesville for your commitment to Iredell-Statesville Schools and our community.  The "Fuel Your School" contests organized by your dealership are of tremendous value to our schools, not just because of the charitable monies you graciously donate, but because of the recognition you provide for and the appreciation you show to educators in this county.

I speak for all of us at Northview, an IB Word School, when I say the $5,000 you awarded us today is extremely appreciated and desperately needed.  This investment will be put to good use in serving the educational needs of our students.  Again, on behalf of our staff, students and parents, thank you so much.

On a personal note, I am honored to be a representative Teacher of the Year for ISS and Toyota West, two outstanding organizations.  My wife and I certainly enjoyed helping out at the festivities this afternoon; the weather was great, everything ran smoothly and folks were having a grand time.  If the popcorn and hot dogs weren't enough, to be given a beautiful Camry to drive for the rest of the school year was truly a thrill.  So far I have just driven it from the dealership straight home, but on the way I found myself wishing I lived farther away ? what a nice ride, indeed.

As discussed, Mr. Ivey and I look forward to seeing you and Mr. Bertolami this Friday at 10:00 am.  In the meantime, please extend our gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Bertolami until we have the opportunity to thank him in person.  Happy New Year and see you Friday.
