Body Type

Performance

The V6 Tacoma engine produces 278 horsepower and 265 lb.-ft of torque, while the 4-cylinder engine produces 159 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft of torque.
The availability of three engines was one of the Colorado’s strongest-selling features in the previous model year. That will change in 2023. This Chevy truck is currently powered by a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Non-electric Toyota Tacoma 2023 models may have a hybrid V6 and four-cylinder engine with increased power. These modifications may keep this Toyota midsize truck competitive in its industry. The Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon do not yet have an EV platform, despite having three engine choices.
